Reporting Infringement
If you believe material on Licensy infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, send our agent a written notice that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if the notice covers several works;
- a description of the material you claim is infringing and enough information for us to find it, such as its URL;
- your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
A person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If you aren’t sure whether a use infringes your rights, consider speaking with a lawyer first.

Counter-Notices
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that the material was misidentified, you may send our agent a counter-notice that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- a description of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address, and telephone number; and
- a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
After we receive a valid counter-notice, we will send a copy to the person who filed the original notice. We will restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless that person tells us they have filed a court action to keep it from being used on Licensy. The same penalties for knowing misrepresentation apply to counter-notices.
Repeat Infringers
We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
