These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Licensy, a continuing-education and license-renewal tracking service operated at https://app.licensy.org (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
Licensy helps licensed professionals track continuing-education (CE) requirements, credential renewal deadlines, and related documentation against rules we maintain for various state licensing boards. The Service includes reminder emails, progress tracking, document storage, and exportable records.
Our Disclaimer is incorporated into these Terms by reference and governs reliance on the Service, its regulatory information, reminders, and calculations.
Paid plans are billed in advance on an annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe. New individual accounts may receive a free trial period; at the end of the trial, continued access to paid features requires an active subscription. Accounts without an active subscription move to a read-only state: your existing data remains viewable and exportable, but you cannot add or edit records, and reminder emails pause until you resubscribe.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law. Prices and plan features may change with notice posted in the Service or sent to your account email.
You retain ownership of the credential records, certificates, and other documents you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service on your behalf. You are responsible for having the right to upload any document you submit and for its accuracy.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: attempting to access another user’s account or data without authorization; uploading unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing content; interfering with the Service’s normal operation; or using the Service to store or track credentials on behalf of someone else without their knowledge and consent.
Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required by law. On deletion, your account and associated data are removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
